Oasis Rest partners, Jerry & Lu Ann Broekhuis, are making their vacation home in Fortine, Montana available for R&R to Missionaries, Pastors of small churches, and Care Givers of the disabled. The retreat is offered free of charge to those that qualify. Meadow Creek Retreat offers all the amenities of a modern home. There are two bedrooms which can comfortably sleep four individuals, a full kitchen, laundry and two full bathrooms. Unfortunately this house cannot accommodate small children. The Retreat is located less than an hour away from Glacier International Airport and Glacier National Park, and 16 miles south of the Canadian border on Highway 93 in a wonderful recreation area. This cabin is located in the center of Colorado, by Mount Columbia and the Collegiate Peaks, only 5 miles NW of Buena Vista. Ministers and missionaries in need of rest are welcome to use the lower walk out level of The Mountain Cabin, consisting of 2 bedrooms and a full bath. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Besides drinking in the beauty of the area for rest and refreshment, The Mountain Cabin is close to the Arkansas River with rafting available in the summer. Ski areas are about an hour away and there is hiking almost year round. A suggested donation to Restoration International is $30/night to help cover costs.
